What is ECTN/BESC?

ECTN is a mandatory certificate for all shipments to Republic of Guinea since October 15th, 2018. Cargos arriving without an ECTN will face high amounts of penalties.

ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) or BESC (Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons) is a loading certificate, that is mandatory for most African countries.

Required Documents

  • Bill of Lading

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Freight Invoice

  • Export Customs Declaration

  • NIF Number (Importer Tax payer’s ID)
